At Davina True Vine School, we deeply value the partnership between the home and the school. Together, we ensure every child receives the best foundation academically, morally, socially and emotionally.

We invite parents to become valued volunteers in building an engaging, supportive learning community.
Parent involvement is highly appreciated as it strengthens learning experiences and fosters a positive school culture.

Communication Guidelines
If you have any questions, concerns, or require clarification, kindly reach out to the school office.
The designated officer will assist and provide feedback promptly.

Assembly Attendance & Participation Policy
Assembly is an essential part of the school day where students engage in:
- Character-building activities
- Public speaking and presentations
- Social development
- Project displays and learning reflections
Assembly Time:
📍 7:45AM – 8:00AM, Monday to Friday
Guidelines
- All pupils must arrive before assembly begins. Late arrival may attract disciplinary action.
- Attendance is compulsory as assembly sets the tone for learning each day.
- Students must participate in all assembly activities respectfully and attentively.
Homework Policy
Homework reinforces classroom learning and builds responsibility.
- A communication/homework book will record assignments clearly (topics, pages, subjects).
- Parents are required to sign the homework book daily.
- Homework applies to all classes from Foundation (Nursery 1–2, KG 1–2) to upper classes.
Teachers provide instructions and examples, while parents support completion and punctual submission.
Pick-Up Policy
To ensure safety and structure:
- 2:00PM — Closing time (no after-school lessons)
- 3:00PM — For pupils attending after-school lessons
A late pick-up attracts a fee of ₦500, payable upon arrival.
Change of Pick-Up Person
If someone other than the regular parent/guardian will pick up a child, the parent must notify the school office in advance, stating:
- Name of the person
- Relationship to the child
Uniform Policy
Students must wear the correct uniform daily:

| Tuesday | Cream top + shorts (boys) / pinafore (girls) |
| Wednesday | P.E. Kit + white socks + trainers |
| Thursday | Yellow top + shorts/pinafore |
| Friday | Purple/green T-shirt + black/blue jeans + white socks + trainers |
Footwear:
- Black covered shoes (Mon–Thurs)
- White socks daily
- No slippers or open sandals allowed
Child Protection Policy
We are committed to safeguarding every child.
Key Guidelines:
- Parents will be informed immediately if circumstances arise where the school cannot keep a pupil during school hours.
- Parents must provide updated emergency contact numbers.
- Pupils with mobile phones must submit them to the school office and retrieve them at closing time.
- Unwell children will not be accepted and will be sent home if symptoms appear during school hours.
- Field trips require prior parental notification and approval.
- Confidentiality is upheld at all times.
